This Marilyn Straight style features an even higher rise and a slightly shorter inseam than our typical Marilyn Straight. Plus, our Lift Tuck® Technology uses a proprietary slimming panel with a patented criss-cross design to shape and support your curves. Finished with classic five-pocket styling, zip fly and button closure. Hugo Rain is a deep dark indigo wash with a unique tint as well as hand sanding and whiskers. This jean is made with earth-friendly methods that result in reduced consumption of water, chemicals and/or energy.

Not quite what I expected

"The fit of these jeans seems larger than other jeans ordered from NYDJ. Almost a full size larger, in this case size 10 to a size 12. The waist is also higher, so even though I “thought” I ordered the Marylin strait jeans, maybe I ordered a different style. Also the material is more prone to wrinkling after washing, so back to ironing my jeans - ugh! And they are longer than my previous NYDJ jeans, so I’m rolling up the cuffs. Just not what I’d expected🙁."
