"I love the feel of these pants and the quality is good, but I am worried the stretch of the fabric is going to have them baggy on me after a few hours. I thought about returning them for a smaller size, but then afraid the waist might be too small. I’m going to try washing them in warm water and putting in warm dryer because I really like the pants and don’t want to return them."
"The Marilyn straight crop in cool embrace is just perfect for summer. The length, the light weight denim with some stretch, and the fit meet my requirements. I am 5’4” and 130 lbs. I normally wear a 6 and the 6 fit perfectly. Not too tight through the hips and thighs but also not too loose. The perfect straight fit."
"These crops fit well, are flattering, and feel good. The only thing I don't like is that the color, Blue Lake, is more green than expected, an outlier color. The length is what I was hoping for. I have other crops of this type that are an odd beige color, and I use them all the time in the summer."

"I ordered the Marilyn Straight Crop jeans in chardonnay. When they arrived, I was not sure about the color, which is definitely in the yellow family. The fit was as expected. NYDJ's sizes are very consistent. I wear a 12 in most pants and the 10 works well in this brand. The denim is a light stretch that is perfect for warmer weather. The waist is mid-rise. I really prefer high rise. These sit nicely enough at the waist to be comfortable, but I would have preferred high rise. Frankly, I was not sure about the color and let these sit for a few days, going back and forth about keeping them or returning for a neutral. I'm glad I didn't. The yellow is very soft, and I am finding it to be its own sort of neutral, combining with all sorts of unexpected colors. I washed these before wearing because they came out of the package with creases where they were folded that did not hang out and were obvious. The creases did come out in the (cold) wash."
