Smoothing and sculpting with flattering flare to boot, NYDJ's Barbara Bootcut Jeans fit just right. Our exclusive Lift Tuck® Technology uses a proprietary slimming panel with a patented criss-cross design to flatten in front and boost curves in back. The traditional bootcut fit creates a body-hugging, legs-for-days look. Finished with rounded front utility pockets, back patch pockets, zip fly, button closure and deep trouser-style hems. Dark Loire is a medium-dark blue wash with a vintage edge featuring tucks around the front pockets, sanding, whiskers and unique knee bursts. This jean is made with earth-friendly methods that result in reduced consumption of water, chemicals and/or energy.

"I ordered 3 pairs of size 16 jeans/pants. I am almost 5’6”, these jeans/pants will now cost me an extra $18 each for tailoring the length of them. They are so long they trail on the floor behind me. It’s really quite laughable. Had I known how long they would be I would never have purchased them in the first place, I will not be ordering again."

A tough lesson for a NYDJ fan. Should have ordered down a size.

"Following a bout of Long Covid I have gone up a size in all my clothes. (In some pants, two sizes (eek!). Accordingly, I recently ordered up from my former size 8 to size 10 for two pairs of NYDJ jeans. These bootcuts seemed slightly loose when I first tried them on but assumed they’d be OK, until they began to loosen after a few hours of wear and I found myself in the grocery store having to pull up my sagging jeans every other aisle. I thought the Marilyn style might be better, but no. Unfortunately, having removed the tags and worn them, they’re not eligible for return. So a word of warning to others that the jeans may run larger than the website measurements indicate. Note: I have since splurged on a third pair of jeans in size 8 and a slim style, and they fit with the usual NYDJ style and perfection — albeit this foray into replacing old NYDJ jeans turned out to be an expensive one."
