This Marilyn Straight style features an even higher rise than our typical Marilyn Straight for a flattering on-trend look. Plus, our Lift Tuck® Technology uses a proprietary slimming panel with a patented criss-cross design to shape and support your curves. Finished with classic five-pocket styling, zip fly and button closure. French Nightfall is a classic black wash with very subtle wear on the waistband and front pocket scoops.

Sizing issues but good end result

"I used the online fitting tool and it decided that I should order a size 0 for these jeans. I usually wear a size 4 but the last 2 pairs I ordered in size 4 from NYDJs were baggy so I ordered a size 2 as a compromise. The size 2 was too small. I could zip them up but I felt like a sausage. Also, the length was too short with the 2 because they were so tight. I reordered a 4 and it fit. The length is supposed to be 27 inches but it is more like 26. 5. The exchange process was painless. The color is great."

Best ever!

"The fit is excellent and comfortable. Best of all the 27 in inseam is the perfect length for a petite full-length pant. At 5'4" I am the tallest level for a petite inseam and yet NYDJ's "petite" jeans are 1 to 3 inches too long. What do my 5'2" sisters buy? Hello tailor and an additional expense for every NYDJ pant I purchase . . . unless they are "ankle" length."
