This Marilyn Straight style features an even higher rise and a slightly shorter inseam than our typical Marilyn Straight. Plus, our Lift Tuck® Technology uses a proprietary slimming panel with a patented criss-cross design to shape and support your curves. Finished with classic five-pocket styling, zip fly and button closure. Lake Notre-Dame is a medium blue wash with a vintage edge, featuring tucks at the front pockets, sanding and whiskers. This jean is made with earth-friendly methods that result in reduced consumption of water, chemicals and/or energy.

Very flattering - stretches a lot, long inseam!

"The rise is REALLY high - but it is very flattering. The wash is very dark so even though I have washed it on cold - the dye is still coming off a bit on my hands. The fabric does stretch out so I am glad I went down to a 16 - I normally wear an 18 in NYDJ and a 20 in non NYDJ - as least according to the measurement chart."

High rise

"I have 2 pair of the high rise 31 inch jeans that I bought a few years ago. The new one is less comfortable, a little too stretchy which leads to saddlebags at the hips, and the front rise comes up so far that it wants to curve over (but not the back). I wish they were more like the older ones. I have had no change in my size between the two purchases."

Beautiful dark jean & great if you're tall. . .

"The fabric is wonderful. Unfortunately, the high rise didn't work for me, and the jean length was too long. I have purchased many 14W NYDJ jeans in stores that work, can't understand why the ones I purchase from the manufacturer are too long!
