The curve-sculpting, figure-elongating construction of NYDJ's Marilyn Straight Jeans pairs well with everything, in a versatile straight-leg silhouette. This Marilyn Straight style features a higher rise than our typical Marilyn Straight as well as adjustable rolled cuffs and triple stitch details on the waistband seams, belt loops and pocket edges. Sure Stretch® denim technology provides unparalleled stretch while keeping the jean in perfect condition, thanks to a high-performance fabric with amazing recovery. Lift Tuck® Technology uses a proprietary slimming panel with a patented criss-cross design to shape and support. Finished with classic five-pocket styling, zip fly and button closure. Port Sea is a tinted medium indigo wash with bright bursts at the pockets, thighs and knees as well as inseam chevrons. This jean is made with earth-friendly methods that result in reduced consumption of water, chemicals and/or energy.

Great jeans, but not for me.

"Very smart jeans, high rised, extremely soft and in a very flattering color. The fit is excellent and the triple stitching makes the difference. Unfortunately, the criss-cross panel isn't stretchy at all, having as result a feeling of great discomfort, because of an abdomen surgery I had some years ago. Therefore, I was really sorry I had to send them back. Believe me, they really shape and support curves and I wish I could keep them."

The Marilyn Straight has a slightly higher rise and a clean straight leg that elongates the silhouette. It's cut true to size for most customers, with our signature Lift Tuck® Technology panel built into the waistband and seat to smooth and support without changing the fit through the leg. If you're between sizes, size down for a more fitted look through the hip or size up for extra ease.

Lift Tuck® is NYDJ's proprietary inner construction — a hidden shaping panel sewn into the waistband and seat that lifts, tucks, and smooths the tummy and rear without the bulk of external shapewear. It's built into the jean itself, so there's nothing extra to wear underneath.
