This Marilyn Straight style features an even higher rise and a slightly shorter inseam than our typical Marilyn Straight. Plus, our Lift Tuck® Technology uses a proprietary slimming panel with a patented criss-cross design to shape and support your curves. Finished with classic five-pocket styling, zip fly and button closure. Sunset Villa is a classic dark indigo wash with strong highs and lows, faded whiskers and light distressing on the pocket edges and hems. This jean is made with earth-friendly methods that result in reduced consumption of water, chemicals and/or energy.

Love the jeans but the legs are rather wide.

Two different jeans of the Marilyn Straight style

"On the 6th June I bought a pair of Marilyn jeans size 6 in colour Blackened Blue. I was very pleased with them and on 15th June bought the same style and size in Sunset Villa. Unfortunately the two jeans were entirely different. The Sunset Villa ones were heavier fabric with a loose leg and nothing like the fit of the first pair weighing 627g. The others were different cut and weighed 558g Margaret Moir Could you please explain the anomaly."

The Marilyn Straight has a slightly higher rise and a clean straight leg that elongates the silhouette. It's cut true to size for most customers, with our signature Lift Tuck® Technology panel built into the waistband and seat to smooth and support without changing the fit through the leg. If you're between sizes, size down for a more fitted look through the hip or size up for extra ease.

Lift Tuck® is NYDJ's proprietary inner construction — a hidden shaping panel sewn into the waistband and seat that lifts, tucks, and smooths the tummy and rear without the bulk of external shapewear. It's built into the jean itself, so there's nothing extra to wear underneath.
