The curve-sculpting, figure-elongating construction of NYDJ's Marilyn Straight Jeans pairs well with everything, in a versatile straight-leg silhouette. This Marilyn Straight style features a higher rise than our typical Marilyn Straight as well as an exposed button fly and frayed hems. Sure Stretch® denim technology provides unparalleled stretch while keeping the jean in perfect condition, thanks to a high-performance fabric with amazing recovery. Lift Tuck® Technology uses a proprietary slimming panel with a patented criss-cross design to shape and support. Finished with classic five-pocket styling. Wild River is a medium indigo wash with light but precise whiskering and sanded accents for a broken-in feel. This jean is made with earth-friendly methods that result in reduced consumption of water, chemicals and/or energy.

My New Favorite

"I absolutely LOVE these jeans. So much that I bought a couple of them because we all know they’ll be gone, at some point. Perfect fit before and after washing them. Fabric is soft and stretchy, so will accommodate my little up/downs in weight. The length is perfect for me as well, which can be an issue at 5’2”. They’re not hemmed, and I’m good with that, but I may do a small hem on one if them."

"Will be returning, sadly. The only pair of NYDJ I’ve not been happy with after years of purchasing. Good points: great color, extremely soft, cute. Negatives: not a good “hold” like all my other Marilyns. The cute buttons even gapped! Would be perfect on a flat-belly gal."

The Marilyn Straight has a slightly higher rise and a clean straight leg that elongates the silhouette. It's cut true to size for most customers, with our signature Lift Tuck® Technology panel built into the waistband and seat to smooth and support without changing the fit through the leg. If you're between sizes, size down for a more fitted look through the hip or size up for extra ease.

Lift Tuck® is NYDJ's proprietary inner construction — a hidden shaping panel sewn into the waistband and seat that lifts, tucks, and smooths the tummy and rear without the bulk of external shapewear. It's built into the jean itself, so there's nothing extra to wear underneath.
