NYDJ JEANS - worth every penny!

"First time I purchased linen pants from NYDJ… They are so comfortable and definitely will be a favorite. They do wrinkle and a steamer is always had to have with that. NYDJ are worth every penny because they hold their shape consistently after washing & wearing them for years! They are still unbelievably great jeans."

"LOVE the fit, the waistband is comfortable, can wear belted or beltless. I'm 5"7' and the length is perfect. My new favorite linen pants!"

SHARON (5/5)

Beautiful!

"These are terrific for a night out or business meeting. The fabric is linen with a bit of stretch, so very comfortable, too. I would suggest orderIng a size down, but I haven’t washed them yet. When I do, they’ll be in cold water and lowest heat dryer setting. Enjoy!"

Run at least 1-2 sizes too big

"These pants in my usual size 6 are 3. 5 inches wider than any Marilyn size 6 pants I've ever owned. Also the white are see thru and the navy are more of a washed out navy than the other NYDJ Oxford Navy pants I own (likely because of the fabric and the fact that they appear to be pre-washed)."

Get Wrinkled and baggy

"The fabric is not really linen, it’s a synthetic blend. The pants initially fit then bagged out after wearing for just a bit the first time I wore them. They wrinkle a lot. I ironed them and wrinkled a lot again. Now I’ve tried washing and drying them and ironing without a crease. Well if that helps. Haven’t worn them since."

Love these pants!

"These are one of the few pants that actually fit me. Make a pair in cotton linen for summer!!"

MARIAN M. (5/5)

Nice change from jeans!

"These are lovely everyday/slightly dressy pants. They came out of the dryer looking wearable without steaming. They run large, normally wear an 8, the 6 is very comfortable."

Stretch Linen is an understatement

"Several years ago I bought some NYDJ linen trousers in a 12 and they would stretch whilst wearing them. I usually wear a 12 to 14 in NYDJ Marilyn Jeans. This time I bought a 10; I haven't worn a 10 in years. First wearing and boy do they stretch. I have doubts that an 8 would be a good idea though since the 10 fit really well when I first slipped them on. The fabric otherwise is nice and I REALLY like a pair of more tailored linen trousers for summer than the oversized elastic-waisted with draw string ones. And of course being linen, they do wrinkle! I usually do not wear heels or not very high ones so the inseam is a tad too long but I find sometimes they shrink in washing so I will wait before hemming, should that be necessary. I prefer that the hem just skim the top of my foot as anything shorter or cropped makes me look like an ice cream cone!"
